Indoor Bike Storage.

Any suggestion on "space efficient", inexpensive, indoor bike storage racks?

Would be "ultra cool" if it could serve double duty as a bike repair stand and only cost .25$...asking for a bit much I know but "Aim High", it's what the airforce does.

There are some cool racks at the following site. I have one of them in my office.

I would recommend Ultimate Bicycle Support products. They are not the least expensive, but they are made extremely well. They will last a lifetime. http://www.ultimatesupport.com/ussbike/

I have a four bike storage rack. It holds four bikes in the space of two. It is also self-supporting, so you don't have to lean it against a wall or use tension against the ceiling. http://www.ultimatesupport.com/...ke/product.asp?13985 I guess you could use it as a repair stand in a pinch, but it not the best setup to do that.

Home depot has a "V" storage rack for about 6 bucks--it comes off the wall and you hang your bike on it. All the bike stores carry them but charge 20-40 buck for them, I suppose they are somehow more special though. Works great in my garage.

If you have more than 2 bikes to take care of, get a few of those nylon-coated hooks for $.60 at you local hardware store. Screw one hook into the wall about head height and hange the front wheel off of it. Screw the next on into the wall about 18" higher and about 18" to the side of the last screw. Hang another bike. Screw another hook 18" to one side and 18" lower than the previous. hang a bike. repeat as needed.

use your trainer as a repair stand. OR Buy a trainer, then use it as a repair stand.
