I want to cut my Powertap Cadence wire

So I have a Powertap Pro, and I dont want to rig up the second wire for the cadence.

Can I just cut the cadence wire at the computer mount and maybe put some hot melt glue to seal up the wires?

I just really dont like a lot of cables all over my bike, one running to the rear of the frame is bad enough.

Jeremy ... i cut mine long ago and used the virtual cadence, no problems. I didn't bother to do anything withthe cable other than cut it.

Mine unplugs at the computer mount. I just unplugged it.
