We had a bit of wind (bottom pane) on an otherwise clear, crisp, beautiful mid-Michigan Sunday.

Well you need something to make up for the lack of hills. Think of it as resitance training!
You rode in that Sunday? I'm in the Lansing area and did a nice 40-miler Saturday and had planned a second ride Sunday but bailed.
