Seriously. I'm looking at this forecast and I'm thinking it's ride in the wetsuit type cold at 6-8 degrees and rainy. Anyone else thinking that?

I'm gunning for a qualifier so I may wear arm warmers under the wetsuit but I'm not going to keep it on, that'd get real chafey I imagine

I wouldn't be the first guy to try it, but apparently this bike will be even 15 km longer than that Boise 70.3 bike, but the temperature is looking awfully similar.

I hate duathlon.

Haha. That is not your best bet I'm sure. Honestly, I'm not sure I was any less wet after getting my bike into transition and running 8km than if I had just swam.

At leas I got my duathlon PR. Not too surprising since it was my first one.

Yeah i would have much rather have the swim, I was no less wet and ended up in a permanent calf cramp for like the entire thing. Did the course a full 20 minutes slower than last year. Ooof!

We are pretty bad ass for finishing though!

Got mine but off the podium with the cancelled swim...

Riding in the rain put more people in the med tent than swimming would have.

They invoked the 10 degree rule for AG and overlooked for elite. Just checked the Environment Canada 24 data... 7 or 8 all day.

Safety wise an Aquathon is far safer than what they put us through.
