How to make a "wobble board" help

anybody ever home made one of these boards? They are approx. 18 inches across and have some kind of half sphere underneath. The board is simple enough, a half inch of plywood cut round, but I can't think of a half sphere object that I can attach to the bottom.

I'm too cheap to spend the $20.

found this on the net:

"You can easily build your own wobble-board to your own spec with some particleboard and a rubber ball. Cut the board in a circle and cut a small circle in the center to keep the ball in place. Put the board over the ball and you're ready to go. Don't use a ball that's too soft or it just squashes ... and watch out for one that's too hard (softball) 'cause you'll find yourself on your keester."
