How to identify charlatan [service providers]
now that we've got a head of steam up, and we know why bike shops and bike fitters are all going extinct, can we expand this to race directors? coaches? manufacturers? web magazines?

once we've eliminated all these bad industries that provide no value perhaps we can get to what's important, which was whatever it was we were doing before all these bad industries cropped up.

Since asking don't work here, the human environment seems to be needed .. ;-)

Absolutely. The future is using your 3D printer to make a bike and trainer using a design you bought from a Chinese website for $1, then riding in your garage on a pirated copy of Zwift.

Dan,

I don't think your sarcasm is going to help the intended party or parties realize they are going about things all wrong. Some numnuts can't see past their own vanity or are looking for a little bit of fame. Kind of like the "Can I speak to the manager lady". They bawl around and try to get people upset in order to either get something they want or get noticed. While the rest of us may notice something is wrong and actually produce thoughtful ideas with sincerity in order to remedy the problem.......Just my 2 pennies
