I remember the old forum when it looked like Gordo's forum, back in 1837.

I've perused this site for over 10 years. I was on the old forums, it got really ugly, I left and swore never to come back. I lurked 3 years ago and got a new user name around 2 years ago. It is better than it was.

I was a regular on the GordoWorld Forum as well and considered ST as the forum for the unwashed. Alas, the Gordo Forum folded, and here I was. (and before the Gordo forum there was the Ironman Canada Chat Page - circa 2000-2002). Hell hath no fury like an IronBrad scorned.

rec.sport.triathlon ;-)I lurked there when I first started in 2003 as well as the Gordo Forum. I got some things to think about from Gordo concerning my own training.
I was active in the Reddit triathlon forum last year (incognito) but I didn't like how people would down-vote the truth if they didn't like it. I felt that was a good way to suppress the truth and spread misinformation.
