Help me fix my Timex watch...
That little latch that keeps the strap buckled down broke. Is there a way to replace the wrist band with this model?

I'm thinking that I can't replace one piece, but will have to buy a whole new watch.

Any help appreciated!

Go to Target (or your equivalent). The jewelry department (where they have the watches) will have one of those turny things on the counter, with all sorts of Timex wrist straps to fit just about every model.

Ken, I'm not seeing how this model can be "detatched." Am I not looking at it right?

I looked for an image of this thing on the Web, but can't find one. Are you sure that the strap isn't held on by those little metal spring things, like every other Ironman watch?

And looking at it, negative on the metal spring things.

Just took my timex apart and put it back together with a new band. There are the metal springs, just have to poke in there a bit. While you're at it, change the battery, mine was pretty dead after 2 years. CR2032 was the battery number.

I know. I had to replace the wristband on my Timex S&D watch after the doggies got a hold of it.

Randall, yes, and I saw you, was about to say something, but you were too fast. I was going to catch you at 59-27, but got a flat.

I have (had) this watch break the band twice. There is no fixing it. I sent it back to Timex after the first time and they replaced it with a new watch. The new watch broke after one month and it is there for repair once again. I asked them to replace with a different 50 lap model but I don't know what I will get back....
If you can't send it back, buy a different model.
