Herschel,
Relax. Seriously.
I had surgery last month (down below) and was finally able to begin riding again last week. I'll be at CdA and know that I'll have my riding legs by then.
Despite the compressed schedule, 3-4 months is PLENTY to get your riding legs back. The beauty of cycling is that you can ramp more quickly since it is a non-impact sport. Take the extra time and energy you've got right now and focus it on your other disciplines.
Set some new goals which can also be rewarding...
What about a 10,000 meter swim day? It will still take less time than many rides.
How about doing a 30 mile hike with a full-pack?
Yoga is another great alternative.
Between, swimming, running, and lifting...You'll have plenty of strength and endurance. All you'll need to do is some sport-specific training and you'll be fine.
Best regards,
