Hed Jet50s
Anyone riding these? Feedback? I'm going to use them primarily on my road bike and I'll admit, I'm drawn to them cos of the way they look - but they are Hed wheels, so they've got to be good too, right?

Thanks in advance.

I believe there are some big differences between the 50s and 60s (not just the 10mm). Look for posts by Tai, I thought I remembered him talking about this.

Tai - you out there? Your insight is most appreciated. I should also mention I'm a bigger guy so I'd be looking at the EX version - looking for a fast road wheel

I do believe what Tai probably described is the difference between the V-shaped rim of the 50s and the torroidal shaped rim of the 60s.

The torroidal shape is said to be more aerodynamic and easier to handle in cross winds.

And I believe on one pair the carbon is filled and one it is not?

I seem to remember thinking the 60s were the way to go.

Even for road riding - not too much cross wind trouble with the 60? The HED site seems to push the 50 as the road wheel choice.

I used them on my RC4 & I liked 'em.

Customers who have bought JET 50's have raved about them & I have yet to have any come back for any reason.
