Good morning All,
Am racing a hilly 70.3 in a week from now (Challenge Sardinia) and am struggling to define my workout in Garmin Connect.
I have defined target paces across self-defined segments along both bike and run courses, yet want to get them in a (custom) workout, and ideally load them as a workout (Training) when starting a Triathlon activity with my Fenix 5x.
Currently am only able to create a custom workout (with "Go" for segments with defined target paces and "Rest" with lap press for Transitions). I don't know yet how to load this as a workout from any Activity, despite the FIT file having been synched onto my device. Trying to load a Training from within the Triathlon Activity type ironically gives me a "Download workouts from Garmin Connect" message... :)
The workaround would be to define my whole 70.3 as a run or a bike, and then load it as a workout in a run or bike activity.
Not very neat and for sure the open water swim will be messy - I tried it this week over a sea swim.
Any ideas to solve this very welcome!
Cheers, Jay
