looking for a durable tubular in 650 for everyday riding. Any recommendations? ones to avoid?

Except if you get a cut and the goop doesn't hold you're out one expensive tire, whereas with every other tubular you can open up the casing and patch the inner tube and sew it back up (http://www.yellowjersey.org/tubfix.html) and you're good to go.

Conti Comps are pretty puncture resistant. Though you could get 4 or 5 Vittoria rallys for the price of one conti comp.

I've never been able to successfully patch a tubluar and not had a bulge in it afterwards. In that sense it would be cheaper to get regular sewups like you suggested.

He asked for durability and I feel that my TUFO Jets are the most durable Tubular I've used.
