I have an expensive pair of cycling gloves that are getting a little sticky from sweat and Gatorade. Leather palms. Will putting these in the washing machine ruin them? Forgive me in advance. I feel I should know this

I do it all the time, just don't dry them, wash them the same way you wash and your lycra

Yep put them through the washing machine. Leave them out to dry.

Edit: close the velcro straps in a way that leaves no Velcro exposed, if you are going to wash the gloves with other clothes. Velcro can ruin some fabrics if it sticks to them.
