I started this before Xmas but did not have access to a scale.

Estimated starting weight was more than 185-190+ in December.

First weigh in Jan 7th at 180.4

Jan 13 177.6

Jan 21 173.4

target 156

not a bad run since Xmas, quite happy with results todate.

Wife's grandfather took a bad fall and has some serious head trauma. Currently in palliative care so pretty sad all around.

Hi Speedy

UP 1 lb. to 196 this week. So put a big fat red number next to my name.

I ran 36 miles this weekend (22 Sat and 14 Sun. all hard hills). I carb-loaded on Friday to prepare for that effort. I usually find that I am a couple of lbs lighter mid-week than Monday morning so I am not too concerned.

Mon 1/22 ... 195lbs.

Down from 198 last week. 3lbs of lost weight is likely not accurate. I backed off and on the scale thrice. Same procedure, butt naked, right after first urination.

I held 198 for a couple weeks, so I wouldn't be surprised if I held 195 for a couple weeks.

It all averages out in the end. You learn not to get over-excited/deflated with weekly measurements.

@#$#$^! I weighed in yesterday (Monday) and I am up this week: 169. Up three pounds. Ugh. I feel shame.

Last week was a bad, what with business lunches and all that crap. This week will be back to normal though, so hopefully it's just a temporary blip. Gotta work even harder...
