That was awesome. Anyone with any expertise care to explain what was going on?

The derney race, as in the video is one of the many events held during a typical 6 day race, in between madisons, sprint exhibitions etc. Riders are paired with a derney and each derney/cyclist team race against each other like a regular race. Only one rider from each Madison team competes at a time, so that the other may rest.

Many enduro cyclists race the 6 Day circuit in the winter.
