Just a quick little project I wanted to try: making an adapter so I could use a CO2 inflator as a disc adapter.

Here's the finished (if inelegant) result.


To make it, I took the valve from an old tube and a brass coupling from the local hardware store. Probably could have used the threaded tip of an old CO2 cartridge, but didn't have one handy.



Cut the end off of the valve stem and cemented it into the fitting (Shoe Goo, Wetsuit cement, or any other urethane adhesive....you could also braze it).
