This was shot during the bike portion while volunteers where waiting for the first biker to come back. Gives you a good shot of the transition zone, swim, finish area etc...

Keep 'em coming! We saw drones often during the day, so we're hoping there's lots more where that came from.
For future reference, it would make great overhead video to have one in the Duplessis section, over a steep area where upwards/slow cyclists on one side are juxtaposed with downwards/screaming fast ones on the other side. Just sayin.

Not sure how limited they are to fly over large crowds, we will contact the company doing it, they now need a permit to do so on race day.
They provide a really cool perspective that you do not see otherwise.
