Clip on question
Have a stage race comin' up at the end of the month and probably will not have the TT set up yet, so looking at clip ons.

Another stupid techie question. Besides the right torque are there any issues with clip ons to carbon bars? Can you use non carbon (clamps) clips ons with the recommended torque on carbon bars without causing harm to the bars?

Depends on the carbon bars you're using - some are OK with clip-ons, some are not. In general, they are not.

I spoke with Bo at Specialized and they do not recommend the use of any bolt on aerobars on their handlebars.

I'd go with their suggestion, although they also claim that a Specialized Tri Spoke is unsafe due to their age, and I've got set that still roll around on.
