Does anyone happen to remember how far 60-64 men rolled down?

In general how is the rolldown at the moment for a 70.3 in US?
I am going with my wife to Raleigh 70.3, both 40-44 and it would be nice to understand what to expect as rolldown...
how was choo 70.3 40-44 rolldown? men and women

I would say if you are top 20 in your AG, make sure you go to roll down

Edit: There are 75 slots for Raleigh. That's really alot of slots. I would expect there to be 9-10 slots for 40-44 male. Many will roll men and women.

I didn't keep track off how far things went exactly, but I do know M40-44 went to at least 8th. For F40-44 i know they got to the point where they asked if anyone wanted the slot who was still there, I'm not sure if it was a reallocated slot or not.

He'll beat half of the M45-49 group - dude tore that bike course apart. I bet his grandkids must get a kick out of watching grandpa beat up on everyone.

You guys are really tough on this guy. From what I hear, he's an Ironman LEGEND.

I was at the Florida 70.3 rolldown where Kevin took the one slot available for 60-64. I left awards before the rolldown Sunday, so did 2nd place take it? Were there 2 slots?

Oh, he's a legend all right. But there's nothing he can do at this point to earn respect for his performance. He can win worlds and I will be decidedly unimpressed. He should just go away.

No doubt in my mind that dude is still doing something. I'm sorry. Once a cheater always a cheater.

Wonder how many people he drafts off of.

Is this guy super tan? I was talking to a guy(60ish super tan) with Gerlach and a few other pros after the race and said something about putting down a 2:17 bike split.....

Like Lance, the best thing we could do is ignore him.
WTC should just hire better lawyers and get rid of him.

This guys is no doubt a despicable person and a cheater, but how do you draft the entire way while doing a 2:17 bike split? Almost everyone else is going much slower than that. Certainly no one in his AG is doing that.

Chattanooga is a rolling, self-seeding swim start. And, they shortened the swim because of high currents this year, so everyone got out fast and early. If he was toward the front of the swim start line, he could have easily joined one of the many draft packs of his choosing.

Of course, anyone who saw him blatantly drafting the entire race would likely also have been in one of those draft packs with him, or just a very gifted rider simply following at an appropriate legal distance. :)
