Cardiomyopathy

If you have it, what are your symptoms?

If you had it, what did you do to fix it?

I have a family history of it on my Dad's side (one relative died in his 50's because of it). I have many symptoms of cardiomyopathy that caused me to set up an appointment with a specialist. Fatigue and constriction on my left side around my heart and neck are prominent. Retaining a lot of fluid, especially in my abdomen. It makes me feel and look pregnant. I drink a lot of water, but the urination doesn't correspond to the amount of water I drink. When I was extremely well and fit seven years ago, I would drink a pint of water and have to urinate in 20 minutes. It was always a heavy volume. Now, my urination is not that heavy despite drinking nearly three quarts of water a day (it feels like the water just sits there). I'm tired all the time despite lots of sleep. Though, the sleep doesn't feel like quality sleep. I wake still feeling hammered, then have a 30-60 minute nap during the day. Due to these symptoms, I can't do low effort exercise without having issues. It feels like there's blockage somewhere in my chest/abdomen area. Any physical exertion is very difficult right now. So, I'm not doing any sustained physical activity (like s/b/r) until I get checked.
