J&A Productions has their new, much-improved, site up and running and on it is info about the planned Californiaman. While it is a bit early to start thinking about May of '04, it looks like it could be a great race and will be one of the few non-WTC IM distance races that could draw a real elite field, what with $12,500 for first-place (Roth is the only other race I know of that fits this category; does GFT offer significant prize money?). Pretty cool bike course, too; 56 miles uphill and 56 miles back down. And for us Central Valley folks its right in our backyard! Maybe we will see some of you folks up here.
