A few years back I worked on getting my running cadence up and collected a number of songs around 90 bpm, which, based on Jack Daniels' observations, seemed to be the minimum cadence among top runners. Looking on my garmin files from running with the playlist, the cadence is flatlined at this stride frequency, and I find running to the beat of the music is a good way to keep focus on form. Also used it on trainer rides to keep the cadence up to around 90, since I have a tendency to drift downwards when tired.
I have added songs along the way, it's a pretty eclectic mix, from Springsteen to Rihanna to Depeche Mode to John Mellencamp, since not that many songs stick to this tempo. Obviously for some songs you do half/double tempo. There is a range from 87-93 bpm but most are at 88-90.
