Do Brooks and Nike running shoes fit about the same in a size 12? The shoes to compare would be the Brooks Adrenaline and the Nike Structure Triax IX.

I believe the A7 will be more narrow in the heel than the Triax, they should have similar width in the arch, the brooks may also be a bit more narrow in the toebox...

I agree with you, the Nikes are cut much narrower. Also, I have to size up about a half size when going from my brooks to Nikes

Nike changed their lasts over the last couple of years. Their toe boxes have gotten wider and their shoes don't run as small as they used to.
You'll have to try each one one...

The new ones are back to what they used to be. Just go try on the shoes.
