Yesterday at IMAZ I felt that I executed my best possible race for my current modest fitness level. This yielded a similar time to IMF where I was much fitter but executed very poorly. Hopefully by November I can be fit and execute well at IMF.
- Bad month of training in Feb due to injuries and excessive work hours.
- Good month of training in March with near flawless nutrition.
- Swam very close to what I had hoped for.
- Paced bike perfectly.
- Perfectly executed nutrition on bike and run.
- Ran according to plan through 17 miles then I started to slow a little.
- Overall pleased with performance. I feel I went as fast as I deserved to.
- I had a ton of fun :-)
