Bike for Roth
I'm signed up for Roth and I'm trying to figure the best way to get a bike to Germany. It should be noted I'm going for the experience but I still want to go as fast as possible. My current tri bike is a P5 six and domestically I use a aerocomfort 2.0 so I don't have to deal with the hydraulic brakes. However, this is a big bag and I'm not sure if I want to deal with it flying international. I like the Hen House for the size and I'm capable of assembling and dis assembling the bike but I find bleeding the brakes a pain.

Right now my options are:

1. Suck it up and use the aerocomort 2 bag
2. Use my non-aero road bike and a smaller bag
3. Use the P5 six and figure out how to deal with the brakes to use the Hen House
4. Ship the bike to and from Roth
5. Buy a tri bike so I don't have to deal the brakes in the future.

Looking for advice.

Thanks

First option.

I don't understand the reluctance to fly international with a bike bag.
I have flown with my bike close to 100 times with minimal issues.
Yeah it costs money, but so does flying to Europe to race an iron distance race.

Flew into Munich for Roth last year with my Shiv and aerocomfort tri bag and can honestly say it was no hassle at all - and I definitely strive for hassle-free travel.

For what it's worth my wife raced Roth this past year and we brought her bike over in a Hen House. No issues whatsoever doing that.
