Bike fit (yes another one)
Last november, I did a Retul Müve fit to help me figure out which tri bike I should buy. The fitter did all the fit with a 172.5 cm crankset arms lenght.

I finally bought a Fet IA3 which comes with a 165 cm crankset last week and I'm about to get it. I'd like to take the numbers I got from the Retul fit to adjust my new bike.

Would it changes everything? I mean stake/reach, seat height, etc...? Or can I still use the data I paid for?

Thank you very much

Jonathan

Yes. If you recieved valid data from the fitter, this should inform both your purchase and your set up.

I forgot to mention in the post that the crankset arms are 165 cm. I edited it right after your post.

Thank you

Take the data from the retul fit and do the following...

Raise saddle height 7.5 mm
Move saddle back 7.5 mm
Raise stack 7.5 mm
Move reach back 7.5 mm

FYI....The crank arms are in mm not cm

Dave talks about smaller cranks in this video and explains the changes needed.

Yes. Sorry for the cm. That would take really long legs...

Thank you for your answer. I'll have a look at it

all correct except you don't necessarily have to move the bars up 7.5mm. if you do, you gain 1.5cm of extra distance between a point on your knee and a point on your torso at TDC. so, you could split the difference, and you'll end up with a slightly flatter back and a slightly more obtuse hip angle at TDC.

Yes. I didn't bother mentioning that as I didn't want to confuse the OP. For the sake of replicating the exact fit, I included raising the stack the full amount.

I swapped from 172.5 cranks to 165 when I got my new speed concept. My stack dropped 5 mm with the shorter cranks
