Anyone ever use a 700c latex tube in a 26in mtb tire (~1.5")

Anyone out there try using a 700c latex tube for a smaller diameter 26" mtb tire? Yes, I know it would take some tube overlapping, but I have seen folding of tubes accidentally when installed poorly which held up for years. So...anyone with experience first hand?

Haven't done it myself, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't work. Me, though, I usually just buy a 26" latex tube.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed you're running 1.5s. Not sure if a 26" tube that's too wide would be better or worse.
