Does the age up rule not apply to Ironman events? Was looking at my bib # for FL 70.3 and they've got me M25-29 (and ever other 29 yr old). I am 29, but based on the USAT age-up rule I should be M30-34.

I think depends on events. Eagleman is the same. It's your age on RACE DAY not dec 31 2007.

USAT events use the age-up rule. IMNA events don't. Different rules by different governing bodies.

IMNA events still don't? I thought they were USAT scanctioned again. Are they getting an exception?

I'll admit I was posting from a bit of a position of ignorance -- I've never done an IMNA event.

NA Sports events are USAT sanctioned, but have an exemption from the regular age-up rule.
