A pic of my b/w Kuota Kalibur
Yes, yes, I know - the carpet, the plants, the walls, the trim, a little blurry, etc... :)

BUT, I do have the Slowtwitch approved no spacers, a disc cover, and chain positioned correctly so it's all good. I'm sure I missed something though.

Your plants look ok.

Except the one behind that african violet - it looks dead.

I like the blue tape, goes with the front wheel.

Yeah that'd do it. Those things are so sensitive to water - you get a couple drops on a leaf and you might as well cut it off.

That is the reason I picked blue. I don't know, white would look good initially, but I really don't want to change it every month. I left the bar tap off the base bar and just went with a thin strip of skateboard deck tape instead to minimize the controversy. I really like that instead of bar tape. Much cleaner.

Very nice bike. i love the paintscheme... Is that original? I've never seen it before.

Don't know about your plants, I can't tell them from each other, and I'm damn proud of it. I can however recognize a cool bike when I see it...

You are right. I tried to get one of the black anodized Vision base bars with white lettering, but I guess that is an OEM part that only comes on new bikes. Turns out there is some silver around the red lettering similar to the silver on the bike so it isn't a total clash!

That is the 2007 paint scheme. I think, but I'm not positive, that the solid black is still available as well.

The white is new for 2007 and the nude carbon is still available too. The painted white one retails for $100 more than the nude.

I forgot to mention... I weighed the frame, fork, and headset when it was pulled out of the box. 2.9 pounds. Not that weight matters much, but that is pretty light for a TT bike isn't it? By previous frame in the same configuration was 4.3 pounds. Haven't weighed the complete bike, but I'm not expecting much, I don't have very light components. Probably real close to 19.5-20 pounds.

Slowtwitch approval pending

Tell me you have a Powetap under the disc cover.

Great bike, what size is the bike? I have been looking at the Kalibur seem to be right between a Medium or a Large.

Very nice, J. I didn't like the new white scheme before but I do now, al except the way that the white from the K on the downtube to the bb is three times as thick as it is from the A to the headtube. Aesthetically, they should both be the same depth as the top section.

But that is just being picky, very nice bike, I am sure you will enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Nope. Not yet, cuz I'd have to buy 2 of them since my wife is better than me! ;)

That's a medium. I'm 5'9". Normal proportions and I like to ride fairly compact with my elbows right under my shoulders. Also, the seat is all the way forward. 100mm stem.
