Beautiful area. All of the lakes are easy to circumnavigate. Start with Cayuga and make sure that you branch off to visit downtown Ithaca. Then another day head west and loop Seneca Lake. You can do some serious climbing in the Lakes region (most are short but steep), so gear accordingly.

Look up Nate Ripperton on Strava, he lives in Ithaca and rides a good bit.

It’s a bit of a hike but a loop around Keuka is great riding. If you have someone who can pick you up, just ride to Penn Yan and stop at the river and have some beers and food while you wait to get picked up.

The Mussellman course is great too, you’re not far from there either

There is a ton of nice riding around there with a mix of secondary, county and state roads. Farm to Fork use to put on an event between Seneca and Cayuga Lake https://www.strava.com/activities/2607758803 that is a pretty good mix of these roads with plenty of climbing and nice views.
