Ironman WC Nice 2025 slots men

Hello,

in the link I post here are 2 ironman Copenhagen races to qualify for Kona (men).

How come I can qualify for Kona on 20 august 2024 and on 18 august 2024. How can I qualify for Nice 2025 in Copenhagen?
I bet I searched this a (half) year back and I read it was 18 august 2024 for Nice 2025.

I booked my Ironman Copenhagen already... Anyone knows what races are for Nice 2025?

Help would be appreciated.

One clarification, the 20 August race date was held in 2023. The 2024 race is scheduled for 18 August.

It appears that the 2024 WC qualification cycle ends with 2024 Ironman Copenhagen and that qualification for the 2025 Men's WC in Nice would be at the 2025 Ironman Copenhagen.

I guess you need to qualify for Nice 2025 with an IM race after August 2024 and up to August 2025?

If you see here:

They are still qualifying females in August of 2024 for Nice 2024.

So most likely, if you race Copenhagen next year you'd get the slot, but that's cutting it close so I'd look for a race later in 2024 or early 2025.

But Ironman WC Nice is to close before Ironman Copenhagen in 2025. Ironman nice is 14th of september in 2025. And Copenhagen is always +/- 20 august. So Copenhagen 2025 is for Kona 2026? Pfffff. Ironman making a mess out of it. Who can still follow.

The 2024 IRONMAN Copenhagen offers Men's and Women's Age Group Qualifying slots to the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship in Nice, France on 22 September 2024 (women), and Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i on 26 October 2024 (men). It also offers Women’s Age Group Qualifying slots to the 2025 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i on 11 October 2025.

Is transferring to Ironman Tallinn in Estonia an option? Race is scheduled for one week later (24 August 2024) and offers qualifying slots for 2025.

From the Ironman Tallinn website:
IRONMAN Tallinn has age group qualifying slots to the 2025 VinFast IRONMAN World
Championship in both Nice, France (men’s race) and Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i, USA (women’s race).

I would think if you tell them you want a chance at men's Roth, they would allow a transfer. I've been transferred from an Ironman full to another before.
