So I had a plantar plate rupture surgery about 6 months ago.
The doctor had to do a second surgery 3 week fro the first as the pin that was holding everthing together broke off.
I pressed him for another MRI and it shows I still have a ruptures plantar plate. He said I must have done it when I broke the pin off. I don't understand or beleieve that as I was wearing the bootand he had to go back in there to try and get the broken peice out(which he couldn't) so he wouldv'e seen it.

Another doctor I saw a few weeks ago told me I really need to wait until 8-9 months out before another surgery.

I'm very concered about the long term effect scar tissue may have on my foot. I have a 3 yo( and I'm 50..yup..lol) and don't want to be disabled in 10 years. Any feedback on how I can prevent scar tissue for forming and causing major issues? Thanks.
