On February 17th, it's Simon Says Day
This is to support Simon Marshall, a long time supporter of many, many, many pro and age group endurance athletes. If you don't know who he is, he's an author, sports psychologist, involved with Braveheart Coaching, and yes, married to Xterra World Champ, Lesley Paterson. So much more, but an all around excellent person with the most infectious and positive spirit.
He recently went public with his stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Some of his local friends around San Diego, CA have organized an event and fundraiser to help them manage the mountain of medical expenses required to get through this battle with cancer.
Anyway, come down on Saturday, or just register virtually at the link above. I know there's some pro triathletes and age groupers here, including myself, that have seen the type of support Simon and Lesley have given to our sport, and we can all do a little to give back and show our appreciation.
