Endurance Exchange - worth it as a coach?
I'm in my second year of coaching, and I am thinking about attending the Endurance Exchange in January. For those who are coaches, is this conference a worthwhile investment? Thanks!

It's worth going once.

As a year after year investment? Probably not.

I've been to a few, always came back fired up for the season after interacting with many of my cohort. the coaching segment looks to be worthwhile.

i'll give it a highly recommended natethomas, particularly if you've yet to attend one. just something about being around all of the top industry folks that did something positive for me, and it's a great way to start the year.

Last one I attended, randomly ended up sitting next to mark allen at the restaurant bar, he was willing to engage and that was a nice bonus. go for it!

This next one will almost certainly be a different experience from years past. USAC has bought in big-time, and the spam cannons have been unleashed on their coaching licensees. If nothing else, having a bunch of cycling specific coaches added to the mix will be... interesting.

I Remotely Co-Emceed on behalf of USA Triathlon 2 years of the Virtual Endurance Exchange and what blew me away those two years, was the sheer volume of ridiculously great content that was available!

So answer - YES!

Then there are all of the great networking and connecting opportunities

I can't answer as a coach, but as a race director I noticed there were a lot more coaches than there were RD's. We've been to two and have found something worthwhile each time, although the content is secondary to the connections we've made within the industry. I would say it's definitely worth attending at least once to see if the value is there for you.

Hi coaches,

Exciting news – I've just received a last-minute call to present at Endurance Exchange. In my upcoming talk, I'm eager to delve into the effective integration of HRV monitoring into your coaching practice. Recognizing that HRV adds another layer of complexity in distinguishing signal from noise, I'll be sharing insights into what we're crafting at Athletica.ai (see threads on this forum). Our goal is to streamline the analysis process, freeing you from the tedious aspects so you can focus wholeheartedly on the coaching dimension. To me, this is the future of AI-enhanced coaching.

If you're interested in learning more or exploring how we can better your coaching practice, feel free to reach out. I'm open to scheduling meetings to discuss in greater detail. Additionally, I highly recommend checking out this podcast where I talk about the incoming AI tools you can use with the amazing FastTalk guys.

Looking forward to connecting and sharing knowledge at Endurance Exchange!

Best,
Paul

... putting finishing touches on presentation around how to use HRV in practice to help guide endurance training. If you were attending such a presentation, what questions come to mind, or what would you want to see covered?
