Is bikerudyproject a legitimate site?

I have been shopping for a new aero helmet and found this:

Rudy Project The Wing Helmet - White (Shiny) HL730001 High Quality And Inexpensive sale | up to 50% at bikerudyproject.com

The price is great which leads me to question the site.

Thanks!

No, that site is fake. Not even the pre-"sale" retail prices are correct.

It's usually pretty entertaining to see what actual business is operating out of the address these scammers pretend to be in. In this case, it's a tchothke shop in Kansas.

Even more entertaining how often someone comes to ST to ask whether an obviously fake site is fake! Shocking they still work.

Or maybe not so shocking that they still work given how often people come on ST to ask about them!

The deals are so unrealistic that people still want to believe that they can get a helmet for $80.

If a deal seems to be too good to be true, just walk away.

With these sites I always wonder if:

a) You'll get nothing but radio silence
or
b) You get something that was rejected by wish.com for being too low quality

There are some other threads here on how these scam sites work. TLDR, you won't get a product; they just take your money.
