Exciting news for the whole team at Zoot.There’s precedence for this, Zoot was once acquired by Jarden Brands and was in their K2 portfolio. During that time Zoot was able to leverage up, buy Squadra, and then was sold back to the original sellers with a much larger company. Maybe Zoot will gobble up Castelli. ;)

What kind of performance? Like aerodynamics or comfort and longevity? I know Jim at Ero has tested the Zoot P1 suit and is preparing a video on that.

The tri suits from zoot seem good nice designs a lot louder and brasher than castelli design wise. Well thought out.

Zoot cycling stuff otoh for me has been some of the worst quality stuff for bibs especially, worse than decathlon in terms of pad fit, quality and stitching. Got it on sale have not been impressed.

Mark, who manages Team Zoot, posted a note on Facebook:

“ Hi everyone. As many of you have heard, the MVC group has recently acquired 70% of Zoot Sports. I know many of you have questions about what this means for the brand and the team. Nothing will change with the Zoot brand as we will continue to support Team Zoot, create innovative and comfortable triathlon gear, and help grow the sport. The acquisition will help us expand our reach globally and get into markets we have been unable to in the past. New technical apparel innovations and fabrics will be easier to source and test, only strengthening our spot as the premiere triathlon brand in the world. Thanks for all the support and we'll see you out on the race course! - Mark”

Seems like both sides bring strengths to their respective bike/tri customers.
