Decent cheap wheel for the trainer?
Lately, I've been using my race wheels to work out on the Computrainer and realize that this is probably not the wisest use of those wheels. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive, solid wheel for use on the trainer only? I only need a rear (I have an old front wheel) and I don't want to spend more than $125 or so for the rear (Shimano compatable.)

Thanks.

It's just a trainer wheel - so get teh cheapest true wheel you can find. I periodically see something basic, or half a cheap wheelset, for less than $75. Just remember you need a cassette, etc. for this wheel too, so your all-in cost might be $125 if you're lucky, but it'll probably be higher.

You don't need anything special. Find something sturdy like a 32 spoke with a decent quality hub. Lots of good used stuff on ebay.
