They're both great, but the Lava shorts are the best (I own 3 pairs) for both compression, fabric and feel. They're also cut a little longer than the distance short (which I like) though they do share the same neoprene-esque pad, which is perfect for the bike and unubtrusive on the run. Their tri tops are also pretty much unmatched in terms of quality and comfort. I can't wait for the new '06 Oomph! line to hit the stores soon.
