Invitation to Triathlon Camp ”An epic ride in Norway. East to West – and Back”
Start in Kongsberg 80km south-west of Oslo friday 2nd june and finish same place Monday 5th june.
Program
Friday 2nd june:
0700 45min swim in lake in Kongsberg. Swim in indoor pool if water is to cold.
0900 Bike. Kongsberg-Bolkesjø-Gransherrad-Rjukan-Rauland-Øyfjell-Flatdal-Seljord-Bø. Total: 240km
Run 20-50min when arriving Bø.
Accomodation in Bø Camping. Cabins for 6-10 persons. NOK 150,- pr. person.
Saturday 3rd june:
0900 Bike. Bø-Seljord-Åamodt-Haukeli-Røldal-Odda. Total: 217km
Run 20-50min when arriving Odda.
Possible swim in fjord after dinner.
Accomodation in Guesthouse at Odda Camping. Rooms for 2 persons. NOK 295,- pr.person
Sunday 4th june:
0800 Swim in fjord in Odda.
1000 Bike. Odda-Eidsfjord-Måbudalen-Hardangervidda-Geilo-Gol. Total: 213km.
Run 20-50min when arriving Gol.
Accomodation at Gol Campingcenter and Appartment. Cabins for 4 persons. NOK 187,- pr. person.
Monday 5th june:
0800 Bike. Gol-Nesbyen-Rødberg-Rollag-Flesberg-Kongsberg (Kongsberg Training Center). Total. 177km.
Run 20-50min when arriving Kongsberg. Shower at training center
1500 Swim in lake in Kongsberg 1h
1800 Finish of camp at Pizza restaurant in Kongsberg.
Totals 847km biking. Passing over Rauland Mountain 1st leg, Haukeligrend plateu on 2nd leg and Hardanger plateu on 3rd leg. 3rd leg covers the first 90km of the Norseman Bike leg. 4th leg has 1 medium climb, last 90km al flatt.
We charge NOK 300,- pr. Person for food and servicecar. We are working to get sponsors giving us gels, bars and sportsdrink.
Total NOK 932,- pr. person for the whole camp.
PS! We will have 1 servicecar, mainly to transport luggage, and maybe have 1 service station on each bike leg.
