I'm replacing my chain but have a conneX link on my old chain. I'm wondering if I should push the pins out on the conneX and reuse it with my new chain or just get a new link. It's not like a new link costs that much, I just don't want to throw out a conneX if they are reusable.
Anyone know?
Thanks,
CJS
If all the other links in the chain needed to be replaced why wouldn't the connex need to be replaced also? Its just another link in the chain. Just my line of thought.

I have reused botht he Wipperman link and the SRAM link. Whether that is a good idea I am not sure. I think as long as it is not too worn, it should be strong enough. How often to chains really fail any way?
