For those of you that don't know or don't remember, Maurice is a canadian gentleman with a degenerative muscle disease that was robbed of his bike money and possesions while pedaling around the North American comntinenet. ST came to his rescue and provided money and equipment for him to complete his journey, which to date is 11 months long. Here is his latest email update:

pedaling and harder to find internet on my way, left Tucson , Arizona

16, got a very cold night in New Mexico, 15 f and 9 inches of snow in
front
of me in Ruidoso, but warm weather came back the days after, In Texas,
and
Ok it was the tornedoes that I managed to escaped , here, sunny 80f ,
birds
are singing and the trees are in flowers, and for a change , I am
riding
with the wind in my back most of the time, Some days, was flying , more
than
100 mi. at 2 occasions, figure to take another 3 weeks before crossing
Canadian border in Buffalo to St-catherine, Ont. cannot reply pers. to
those who wrote me now, will take me too much time in daylight, Hit the
road, Jack !! 2:30 pm Last night, was my 11 full moon since I left,
