I had to choose between the NYC tri and Nationals in Kansas City, my friend went to nationals last year and didn't really have anything good to say (understandably so) so I signed up for NYC... what I didn't think about was the impact having nationals the week before NYC would have. Don't get me wrong, racing in NYC is going to be cool but is this going to be a true "A" race for age groupers or will all the competetion be worn out from racing in Kansas City the week before?

I personally never even considered going to Nationals this year. I am signed up for the NYC tri and I am planning on some great competition. The only thing I am quetioning is the Elite AG wave at the NYC Tri. Will the top competitors stay in the normal AG waves in order to be eligible for AG prizes and rankings?
