Jackrabbit Sports will be opening on 14th street b/w 5th and 6th ave, but I'm not sure when. I walked by it a couple days ago and looked in; they don't look quite ready to open yet. SBR is on 58th street near 7th ave I think.

If Brooklyn isn't too far, the original Jackrabbit and R&A are in Park Slope.

Paragon. It's at Union Square, so not really Lower, but, it's decent, and easy to get to.

R & A is in Brooklyn, but pretty close & not difficult to find - mostly cycle & tri gear.
