If I can recall from looking at previous year's maps, it's either a 6 or 8 loop bike course that has a long downhill, 180 degree turn-around and long uphill on every lap.

Chris & I bang heads all the time (In a good way). He's a great competitor. He's a little quicker on the run. I'm a little quicker on the bike, which makes for some very close & exciting racing. He also rides a Blue Competition T-12 & is getting a pair of H3c's for the spring, so my slight bike advantage may evaporate :-)

I know Chris from a few years ago when we were both helping out with the Hammerheads (along with Tweedy). Last I heard from Chris was that he was considering doing a tri next year so if you see him, ask him if he's been in the pool!

Come to think of it, I think I met you at a Canada Day bbq at Jeff's house a few years ago. That was the day we did a swim workout then rode to Welland and back to check out the tri course then went for a trail run. I don't think you were there for the ride as you were running a bit late.

I love the look of those Blue bikes ... are you considering any sponsorship requests ;-) ??

is the the du course on the same course as the itu tri course? I have a friend who raced on the itu tri course before (he does itu races)

Hi Speedy,

I raced in CornerBrook back in the 90's on a different course - I'm not sure of the new course but you can expect hills and lots of them! It was known as one of the toughest courses around.
