Are the new KEO cleats interchangable with the older regular style look pedals? What I mean is if I have i bike with the new KEOs and one bike with the older look pedals can I use the same pair of shoes without having to switch cleats everytime?

My bike shop told me "no" to that question.

Nope

What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

No. Smaller footprint (no pun intended) and thinner too I believe.
no they are not. The Look KeO has a lower profile that puts the cleat platform closer to the spindle (more closely like the newer Shimano and Speedplay style) which gives the pedals a more positive feel.
There are 3 cleat options for the KeO: red, grey (4.5') and black.
There are several variations of the KeO as well - Classic, Sprint, Carbon, Ti
The older Delta cleats are all on closeout with the exception of the bi-material cleats (the ones with the white edges).
I use the KeO ti pedals and like them but don't really recommend ti spindle pedals to people ;-)
