Skinny headset spacers for Diamondback Serios F?
Ok. Bear with me. Trying to solve a possibly dumb problem.

I just bought a Diamondback Serios F, 2015 model. Very nice bike. Di2 is great, love the cockpit. Trying to dial in stack height. I think I can ride this bike comfortably with the stem slammed all the way down, because that gets me to a very similar stack from my prior bike. The bike comes with 4 plastic spacers which go under the beautiful integrated stem. When they are removed, you need to cut the steerer tube down to the right height to clamp the headset properly.

I don't want to cut the steerer yet, because I want to get some outdoor miles first. I think that I can use some regular spacers and a top cap to clamp the headset, but the bottom spacer needs to be no more than 3mm thick, so it fits into the top of the integrated stem.

So, where can I buy skinny spacers? Has anyone done this with a Serios before? Is there a better way? I'm kind of nervous about lopping 50mm off the steerer without a few miles under my belt.

Cheers,
Bigshoes.
