Best TT Bike Computer Mount ?

Debating which one to get between the following two options, but if you have a third - would love to hear it:

1- Barfly (seems to be the most widely used option)

2- Alden Carbon Mount (this was suggested on another thread and looks like an interesting solution)

I just got the k-edge sport TT mount. I like it because there is a hinge that allows you to put it exactly where you want it.

PVC pipe cut down to the size between your bars then zip tied. Looks good and costs all of like $.50!

I used a barfly when I had a garmin (wahoo user now). It worked fine. The 'click-in/realease' wasn't as nice as garmin's own mounts IMO, but it did its job.

I think I'd choose it over the Alden since it takes up less real estate in the bar. I like to run my computer as close to the end of the extensions as I can because a) it's easier to see the screen without moving my head and b) it creates more room for a bat bottle mount. The barfly and computer didn't get too in he way of my hands when I had it pushed forward.

The other option I've used in the past was the Profile Design UCM paired with the standard garmin mount. It was ok, but I liked the barfly better.

I've got the Zipp branded one. It works and was relatively cheap (sub $20). There is an SRAM version too which seems to be the exact same thing but a different logo printed on it.

Vote for #2. Alden is clean, adjustable, and works with more extensions with weirder setups.

To my knowledge none of the other options on the market, to include a janky piece of pipe, would allow me to run the setup I have.

I can recommend putting the mount at the end of the bars...by the shifters...you can push buttons without moving elbows from pads ... and there's minimum distance between road and screen for your eyes....none of this reaching and one arm riding with helmet tail vertically in the wind to check kpi's...it looks funny when you first see the computer so far forward but it has tge comfort and safety of a heads up display

I have used this one for a long time and it has always worked perfectly. I only recently replaced it since I wanted a GoPro combo mount so I got the Barfly TT combo.

Zipp or X-Lab are my 2 favorites. The X-lab is adjustable so you can center it between the bars, its just a little more pricey.

So it's identical to what jrielley suggested then, except prefabricated to a specific length and more expensive.....maybe a little prettier.

Correct, except it fits perfect compared to a hand made PVC version. I actually made my own after that picture but out of an extra piece of aerobar extension. My new setup was too wide for the carbon mount. I agree, you want it out front and heads up, between the hands is awesome and super visible and easy to poke down and flip through screens.

I think the answer is it depends on what you plan to do with BTA...so, what is your plan with regard to a bottle?
