I do 3sec and Lap average (5km for me). Tells me what I'm doing at the time and what I'm averaging over a manageable interval

same problem.
Bought 520 garmin (10 metrics on display) Also easier to look at
If you dont want to buy another gadget, then use " 3s power/av.power "
