Insulated Swim Cap Recommendation?
Been doing open water swims in Southern CA the past few weeks and with the water temps dropping into the high 50's its time to get an insulated cap.

I tried my old surfing hood, but the neoprene strap really chaffed my neck. Barracuda, Orca, DeSoto, and TYR all make insulated caps. The TYR Warmwear cap is the only one that doesn't have a strap. Any recommendations?

I have the Desoto, no chin strap adjustment. It fits and works well.

Try a whitewater kayaking skull cap. I have one that is fleece lined with rubber on the outside. No strap to mess with. Never had a problem with it staying on my head, and it is nice and warm!

Ironman/Blue Seventy has an interesting 3mm Yamamoto neoprene cap with a different kind of strap. I'm told that the strap is very comfortable (i.e. no chaffing)
