pretty darned respectable weight given the parts and the bike I'd go weigh my bike..but I'd likely cry...'cept my Kestrel..she's light..my wifes Orbea though...now that's sweet...and nothing on it is incredibly light either...what I could do with money

Something just does not seem right about the total weight of that bike. 16 bike with a 4 pound frame and 2 pound crankset-- some of the component weights seem optimistic.

Suffer Well.

There really doesn't appear to be any real light components.

My Yaqui with full DA is about 20 pounds with training wheels. I don't understand how this guy is saving 3.5 pounds on me. His wheels are a pound lighter, but his crank is heavier.

Dang.....a 20 pound bike with full DA?
What kind of training wheels do you have?
What's the front end on it?

Good gosh:
I've got a 105 kilo that with race wheels sits at about 18.5.

My TitanFlex weighs in at under 18 pounds with everything including water bottles. I have Zipp 303 wheels, and no Rotorcranks.

I edit to note that the specs do include the cables, but not the aerobars. In which case, the weight seems just about right, maybe a few ounces lighter than I would have expected.

The RC's don't really add a whole lot of grams. I think they are only about 300 grams heavier then DA. If I trim the Velcro tab off my tri cycling shoes I can save near that much weight : )

That was good : )

I have RC's on my two TT bikes and just bought a third set for my road bike. I'll be moving from the flats of the east coast of Fl to Sedona AZ. I'm looking forward to climbing with the RC's. There's a section of road about 20 miles from the house that is 2,500 vertical in 6 miles!!!

Yaqui Aerolite frame, Reynolds Ouzo Comp Fork, Carbon-X, Koobi Tri Seat, Thompson Post, Look Pedals, Rolf Vector Wheels. I think it's slightly under 20lbs.
